Most of this was filmed at the beginning of July...so those of you who have heard a lot of Joshua's words lately may not be particularly impressed...we'll try to get more of them on film for another one - and all his new animal noises. My favorite new sound is what a rooster says. Alas, those are not on here, but Joshy will share those with you soon. Thank you my faithful blog readers and watchers - tell me what you think!

Manda your Joshy is amazing! I was just reading through the list of words you posted awhile back, and now this. He is SO well spoken, smart little cookie! Ha, just yesterday I noticed david saying "bear" and "dog" and he says Waaaa! for Ryan (I know it's Ryan because he practically screams it in the direction his brother last went, and then waits expectantly for him to answer back). BUT he can no where NEAR talk like that little man of yours. ALSO!!!! CONGRATS!!!! I have been such a heel not saying anything back to you, but truly, I am SO happy for you guys! We need to talk soon...much to share on both ends it sounds like. Miss you and love you so much!

The video and photos are priceless, AmandaPanda. Thank you! One of the best moments of my whole life was the Sunday morning when Joshy sat on my lap, pointing out the apples, bananas, etc. he saw in his book -- and then he looked up and said, "Happy, happy, happy." I whispered back, "Grandma's happy too, sweetheart." (And then had to make sure all my happy tears didn't smear his new book.)

What an intelligent, marvellous little guy you have! I love his sweet voice, and he speaks so well. Absolutely priceless. (I always did wonder what a fish says...!)
Even though I've heard him say all that stuff and more, it's fabulous to hear it again, and to replay it whenever I want - especially since I'm so far away now! I love you guys, and I miss you lots.
