I don't often do things like this, but I really liked this one - Trina posted it on the "sisters" blog (that I enjoy reading!) and I thought I'd try it.
A couple thoughts for my faithful readers - Mom, these might be some good Christmas ideas :c) and book club ladies, this might be helpful in choosing books for next year!
I'm not sure how well my memory will serve, so I'll do my best.
Here is a link to more info about where this came from:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/bigread/top100.shtmlBasically, this is a list of the top 100 books (as determined by the BBC), and apparently (though I couldn't find this statistic on the site) they estimate that the average adult has only read 6 of these books.
Here is what you do:
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you love. (Or asterisk, since there is no underline option on Blogger.)
4) Reprint this list in your own blog so we can try and track down these people who’ve only read 6 and force books upon them.
